I was walking out of my house at 6am when I noticed a leaking hot water heater. I called the after hours line on my way into work, they answered and a technician called me back an hour later. I sent a pic of the issue so he knew what to bring. The issue was resolved by 10 am. I was SOOOOO impressed with how quickly and professionally this was taken care of. Thank you. I will always use Sparrow and sons.

Simply put these guys rock! I have used Sparrow for both emergencies and for planned work. While I enjoy the latter, it is comforting to see Sparrow recover from the former. The staff is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in need of a Plummer, I cannot recommend Sparrow and Sons strongly enough. Do yourself a favor and give them a call.

We Hired Sparrows to replace the cast iron plumbing under our house with PVC. After they finished the job, we started noticing problems right away. The downstairs toilet became a geyser when an upstairs toilet was flushed. It literally hit the ceiling sometimes. We had them come back to diagnose the issue. They performed hours of diagnostics and came up with nothing. They made a total guess that it could be a partial blockage in the sewer line. We cleared that and it didn't solve the problem. It was at this point that they became really obnoxious to deal with. They clearly didn't want to solve the problem that they caused, because they couldn't figure out what they did wrong. We even tried to help. We spent hours of our own free time researching NC plumbing codes. We came up with a hypothesis that there was a problem in the wet vent pipe. When we told Michael Sparrow, instead of saying that could be it, or he didn't think that was right and here's why, he told us we're 'not allowed' to use plumbing jargon because we aren't educated in plumbing. That blew my mind. If I was so incompetent at my own profession for so long as Michael Sparrow, I would be begging the client that was suffering from my incompetence for forgiveness and doing everything in my power to fix the problem I caused. It is pretty clear that Michael is the type of person that instead tries to find a way to blame the person he is causing problems for and weasel his way out of having to do any work. We hired another plumber to come look. He saw the problem with the wet vent pipe right away. We asked Sparrows to fix it. They sent Marcos. Marcos slammed our doors and didn't speak to us. He didn't even tell us he finished the work before leaving. I supposed he didn't want to stick around to see a test. What do you know, when we tested it the problem was solved. There is a lack of maturity at this company that goes all the way to the top. I'm sure they're just fine to work with if they get it right the first time, but if they make a mistake even the managers start throwing tantrums. I would expect mistakes too, considering how hopeless they were at diagnosing the problem they caused.

I recently had two appointments with Sparrow and Sons inside of one week at two different locations. They got us on the schedule within 24-48 hours, were excellent communicators, showed up exactly in the time frame they said they would, and did excellent work quickly and efficiently. They are highly skilled and competent, and they don’t dawdle. They get in and they get out. 10/11 would recommend.

Sparrow was scheduled for between 2 and 4. At 4 I got a call that they were running late that they would be another hour or so. Since I had other plans, I asked to reschedule. Michael Sparrow told me if I did not let them come that day, it would be a week or more. I told this was unacceptable saying it was their fault I had used them many times and they should come the next day. Michael was rather belligerent even claiming they had a good rep in the area and inviting me to go elsewhere which I finally did.
